Civic FWD drifting

Who says you can't drift a front wheel drive Civic? Not really sure if you should call this drifting :) It's more like sliding.

Either way, drifting or not, people are failing to see the lack of skill involved. Some crazy good driving right there.

i dont see why people argue about FF drifting...It's more of skidding kinda like going sideways in a bicycle while locking rear brake. Skiding is done by locking rear wheels with ebrake. Power slides are done with power over from the rear wheels or AWD . Drifting is done with many ways to initiate a drift and power over to keep going around a turn. just some liitle facts from what i learned from being in a drift scene for 3 years...

You seem to be speaking of power sliding when you talk about RWD cars. There's a lot more to think about when drifting than just gassing it. Also, you do realize that the Japanese are the guys who built up the drifting genre, do you not? However, yes, FWD drifting is fairly challenging, considering the drive.

absolutely wrong. this IS drifting. What you are refering to is power sliding. Power sliding is a form of drifting.

Nope. This isn't drifting. The front wheels are keeping their grip. Thus, it is sliding.
