Cheers to real music! Someone should show this to some of these new aged "talkers" and "noise makers" who think what they're doing is music. I wish kids and teenagers would move on from what the public media feeds them.

yes of course that's Count's band.. It is Ben . but he did play with Basie years Before that. Also are Dickie Wells, Benny Morton and Vic Dickenson tb.Doc Cheat/m Tpt I think Al Aarons Tpt as well.I just wish the full video could be offered.I think some folks should do a little more research before they post info.Thanks for the great "Jazzzzz"!

Love this-it's from a CBS TV show called "The Sound of Jazz"-you can get the whole thing on video-well worth it. By the way, this is the Count's orchestra not Dukes. Thats the Count himself playing piano...
