Every band that starts as an extreme underground metal band and then moves on to making endless videos and singles is a commercial band; it's not the success. Behemoth is just as commercial as Dimmu Borgir for example. Look at Morbid Angel. They are one of the most successful AND influential death metal bands to ever exist and they don't even come close to being called commercial. It has nothing to do with elitism.

What's the problem with videos and singles? They need to promote the band somehow, or are you going to pay their bills? They still have their musical intigrity, never change their musical style like dimmu borgir did, that's whats matter
