Intro to the Old '60's British Spy TV series. Has a cult following, including me. Lots of fun.

But we are the society. And if the society does not want you to have either individuality or eccentrity, it means we don't want you to have those things.

As I stated before... Makes no sense what-so-ever. Besides, I thought it was, we are the world.

Sean Connery IS James Bond and Patrick McGoohan IS the Prisoner.

The show was weird, edgy, compelling...and the music / intro was great. The melody, the horns the guitar...as intense and memorable as the Bond theme. The Lotus 7 every bit as iconic as the Astin Martin...and nothing was quite as eerie, prophetic or disturbing as:

"Be seeing you!"

I am not a number...I am a FREE MAN!

Not with "starred in ads against stem cell research" Jim Ca-wiesel in the starring role. It's awful. But then, we expected that.

I've never seen the original series, although'I've heard of its cult status and the many references to it, like Nr 6 on BSG. This opening sequence is very so so and very long with terrible music. The remake is a bit like Lost, although I hate Lost. Jim Caviezel and Ian McKellen are great. But what bothers me about the remake is the obvious Iraq subtext, with the desert and the 'terrorist' bombing and I've only seen one ep. And there's nothing subtle about it. hope it gets better or I won't watch

Lost at least was a tad original. This is a remake, and they wasted it.

I watched the new one last night. It's not good. McKellen is excellent because he could read a phone book and make it interesting but everything else is weak. I realize that you have to meet a concept like this halfway but the structure of the narrative doesn't allow for the suspension of disbelief. Madmen and Breaking bad are both superb so AMC is entitled to a dud.
