When they are doing the splits, what do the numbers mean?

when you get a 10, it means that your at a perfect 180 degree split, so they do splits on the spring boards to go past 180 degrees. soooooo for example when Nica got a 14 on her right split she went 4 inches past 180 degrees. hah

ugghh i did gym testing a while ago. I got a perfect 5 on the flexible things and i was the best at sprinting and leg lifts but i sucked on pushups and pullups

Talent Oppurtunity Program. It's when young gymnasts test to see who are the strongest and most flexible. If they get in the top 50 or something, they get on the national TOPS program.
