How do you think human beings have slaughtered their animals for the past 8000 years (dawn of agriculture)? Usually a cut to the neck is the simplest and most humane way of killing an animal. How do you expect people in non industrialized nations to afford the process you suggest. By the way have you ever been electrocuted? It hurts like hell.

Not electrocuted, goofball. A high-voltage electric current of sufficient current, applied across the brain, causes INSTANT tonic-clonic (grand mal) seizure. This is NOT the same thing as that time you stuck the butter knife in the electric outlet in your kitchen just to see what happened. One is a very humane method of stunning an animal so it can be killed painlessly. The other is a really stupid thing to do.

BTW: The other humane stun method is captive bolt. The animals never feel a thing!

that's a lie on the countrary the animal doesnt feel anything if his throat is cut as it is supposed to be by the islamic way. Even if it seems ugly it isn't. And the animal is not supposed to be killed by a machine hanged up in rows, and not supposed to see when you sharpen the knife. SCIENTIFIC investigation PROVES that stress hormones, like Cortisol, are GREATLY ELEVATED in the blood of kosher/halal slaughtered animals, when compared to humanely slaughtered animals that are stunned prior to being bled out.

This video misses the point. Halal/kosher slaughter practices are cruel and inhumane. During these barbaric practices, animals are fully conscious and aware they are being attacked, and that they are dying. Normal, proper slaughterhouses keep the animals calm, then electrically stun them, inducing a grand-mal seizure. During this, their throats are cut and the animals bleed out painlessly and unconscious. Cortisol levels in the animals' blood PROVE that KOSHER/HALAL = CRUEL!! It MUST stop!
