Anyone know where i can buy a blank firing heavy machine gun (like a M2, or MG42)? i tried google, all i could find was blank firing full auto pistols, and assault rifles.

goile sache! habe damit auch mal rumgeballert und zwar als ich beim bund war von 1992-93!
alle 5 schuss war mit leuchtspur- munition bestückt, das war abenteuerlich als dann bei dunkelheit geschossen wurde mit gefechtsfeld-beleuchtung! coole zeiten!

the mg3 was made long before the 2000's my friend. try the 60's.

Wow, I am man enough to admit I was wrong. Thanks for enlightening me on that, also, apologies to swartzkip. As I am saying this is SUPPOSED to be an MG-42, but I don't know if really is just an MG-3 converted or a MG-42 regular blank model. Thanks for the correction though.

The MG3 is around since 1946, its a direct adeptation of the MG42, because it worked good.

Yes, but see, thats still my point. the MG42 used an all wood stock, and wasn't adapted to any detachable ammo boxes, except for the saddle drum and single drum. This is a WW2 re-enactment, in which they would use an MG-42 blank firing model. Maybe MG-3 base, but never the less, an MG-42. And yes, you are the MG3 had been around since the 70's actually.
