Yes, that's my point, Jacob is being 'brought down' because he's getting the ladder stripped off his receptors (Antidote) - Benzos do indeed treat anxiety and can help bring you down. I was being flippant though, the Ladder is something far more ingrained. But B12 & benzos are good to have around if you're going to trip heavily....believe me !

THis is a great scene in theatrics. If it was still in, then it would be the most scariest and would have the most action of the movie. However, when it comes to the true story, irrelevent. I can see why they pulled it. I feel bad for the director having to take the scene out, but it was for the best.
