Mavis Staples is amazing and with gutsy back-up band, I felt like was barefoot in the bayou. It doesn't get more real.

One of the iconic voices. Janis Joplin once stood in the wings and lamented "I'll never be able to sing like that", and she meant it with all her heart. Mavis is great.
