I don't see why people hate Creep. I personally love every Radiohead album and find it hard to choose a favorite. I think people are saying they hate it because it's "trendy" and it's the rebellious thing to do. The band themselves dislike it, but only because they didn't want to be epitomized by that single song. A reasonable position for the band. But it really is a good song, maybe not on par with this song or even the Kid A album as a whole. Or many of their albums...but still a good song.

Heh, its funny though, they are starting to play Creep again - perhaps they are finally comfortable to throw out the 'golden oldies' to please the fans. After all they know they will stick around to listen to the rest of the magic...

radiohead themselves hate it. After Creep they were adjudged by everyone to be a one hit wonder. Everyone loved Creep and always asked them to play it. They got sick of it. Didn't play it for many years, not sure they ever play it anymore. And this sentiment seems to have rubbed off to the fans; the song is sort of a symbol of everything Radiohead is not, if you know what I mean. How to disappear is everything that Radiohead is, on the other hand. Amazing. But I also like Creep FYI :p
