teak- to not believe many people only voted for him cus hes black isridiculous- i forget which news network it was, but they went into the bronx, interviewed a bunch of black people about obama. some questions were: do you support his runningmate, sarah joe paden(or something like that, some ridicolous name)?

do you support his prolife stance, etc. all things he did not profess to believe. it is ridiculous. some people do research, most dont. that is a shame, but a common one.

i think, to solve this, you should take a general knowledge quiz about whatever candidate you vote for. you fail, your vote doesnt count. that will keep a lot of those who vote only for someone who is black, white, pro life, pro choice, etc. off the ballots.

2. It makes me laugh when people say that people only voted for Obama because he is black. Sure, maybe some did, but do you seriously think that at every election every person sits down and researches every candidate? What is the difference between voting for someone just because he/she is black and voting for someone just because he/she is Republican or Democrat? In the end, you are voting for what you believe that person represents. That's why you have political parties.
