The referee was my instructor Walt Bone. This was an exhibition that "heated up" with Billy's aggressive style. I've seen the entire fight and Benny is frustrated and surprised that it's going so hard, including the standing 8 count on this clip. Billy was a beast and it would have been a great fight had they both prepared for full contact. I'm looking for Billy Jackson vs Ferdinand Mack on my hard drives. That was a great fight :0)

I have seen the whole fight on video. I was not convinced that this was an exhibition to begin with. I have read the very first issue of the now-defunct Karate Today magazine, which reported the bout, but never mentioned this was an exhibition. Even Mr. Howard Hanson said calling this bout an exhibition was joke.

Billy Jack got the nod. Too bad Benny did not get rematch - he would have won imo.
