Then even these can avoid a burning hell. God is no respector. But pride can keep you from heaven it is your choice. No christian wants people in hell. If any do they are either not christian or they have some serious growing up to do. but ultimately we accept that there is a hell, just take a close look. Real up close at things, Of course there is a hell. You are struggling with some things or you wouldn't make such a childish silly untrue argument. I'd be glad to listen if you need an ear!
Christianity is a big word. It covers many groups I suppose. But the group that Jesus meant it for is a group that would weep over unbelievers burning in hell. Which is why you see untold tens of thousands through the centuries risking and sacrificing there lives and comforts just to tell others of the great merciful king. However there is some joy in knowing that those who sold young girls into prostitution and gassed the elderly and weak, will one day recieve there reward. Unless they repent!!
To me this is yet another problem. If you accept the doctrine of hell as a just punishment (which I don't because it isn't ever made clear that only pimps and murderers go there) the idea that someone can commit genocide and then get off scott free because they repent is just absurd. No justice anywhere in that equation.
I understand your feelings here. However you are not understanding the whole of what the scripture says regarding such. First off no one gets off scott free. The repentence we are talking about is a true repentance. Not just a confession, but an honest change of heart and character. just as john Newton who wrote Amazing Grace was a massive slave trader and drug addict. When he repented he freed the slaves and rallied for them the rest of his life. Repentance is giving your life up for the Lords.
Also No matter what we attempt we can not earn heaven. Jesus earned it, and truly surrendering to that is amazing humility. It goes against pride, the fleshly desires, intillect, materialism, etc. That is not Scott free, to see yourself as what you truly are without the Lord which is unworthy. And for the Beautiful Son of God to die on a cruel cross, one who was blameless, is not Scott free, it is a high high untold price and sacrifice. Think about it!!!
Also it isn't our job to say who goes there or not. We are to pray for and Love all people as much as we can whether good or evil. we are to warn. We are to press on. If God sends anyone there and HE will it will be just, I am thankful I have know such responsibility. I think sometimes I know who should go or not, but I am sure we will all be surprised. We must understand as loving as Jesus was He was extremely clear that Straight is the gate and narrow is the way. The Cross! Humility! Not pride
Based on the latest data, it is clear that at the time the bombs were dropped the Japanese "...were not seeking to surrender, but pursuing a negotiated end to the war that preserved the old order in Japan...[an old order] that had launched a war of aggression that killed 17 million..."

Dropping the bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki saved a huge number of lives.
What a complete load of crap. It took two bombs to get Japan to surrender. The two bombs saved many, many American and Japanese lives compared to an invasion of the home islands.
