Hi,
To start from the beginning to learn like spinning 101, etc. to learn all of the cool tricks. How to card, draft, clean wool, dye wool etc. To have the videos so we can all learn by watching you over and over.

So glad it helped you. I occasionally will draft from a "blob" of fiber in my hand and spin it that way but I find if I want consistency that this way is best and quite relaxing too!
Thanks so much and please subscribe if you like! blessings, grace in VT

My lazy kate is really simple--just a wooden rectangle with rubber "feet" to keep it from slipping, and two lengths of dowel stuck in the rectangle. The bobbins go onto the dowels & turn pretty freely, or you can use a rubber band under the bobbins to tension them slightly. If you're plying from handspindles, maybe you could do the same thing, but push the copps off onto paper quills & put the quills on the dowels? Anyway, a kate like that might be easy to make as a replacement for yours. :)
