I bought this game used for PS1 a couple years ago.

Well, the ad I bought it from for about $15 *said* used... I then got it in its original wrapping, sealing stickers and everything. Awesome game!

The majority of games, especially early PC games like this (and duke nukem/doom etc) use stock sound effects so you often hear the same sound effects over and over.

I'm sure this shares some sound effects with duke nume...and doom...and starcraft....and some random B movie from 1984...that all licensed the same stock sounds.

is it me, or some of the sound effects are taken from duke nukem 3d???

it's just you. Dark Forces came out before Duke Nukem 3D. check Wikipedia.

The assault cannon from the dark trooper V2s is hands down the most awesome weapon in the dark forces & jedi knight series. Such a shame they've never re-introduced it in a future game.

was this game on N64 because I really remember a similar game to his which I played when I was 5

the graphics are so bad yet so awsome in the same way cause its classic, it looks bad for ps1, i seen must better graphics for ps1, but this has a charm, it reminds me of doom or wolenstein engine
