You can watch a video (watch?v=e_rhCpLQ0Is), taken from a passenger point of view, in one of the test runs taken a few days previous to that record. They went up to 542 km/h (337 mph). The camera shake is bad, but you can tell it is from a non-expert person (you can hear the lady going Oh là là! at 6:19).
Personnally, I would have given an arm and a leg to be on that ride!...
