Uma dublagem bem feita! Feita com vontade! Atualmente, tem muita empresa dubladora que anda com preguiça de dublar, preguiça de traduzir nomes, títulos, piadinhas, trocadilhos, qualquer coisa. Reconheço que os dubladores e tradutores andam ganhando muito pouco, infelizmente. Mas é necessário boa vontade!!!

I love this song! I've read some commentaries where people wander why the cats seem to speak in a "French" way. Well, my theory is that their Rs are spoken that way to simulate purring, instead of French accent.

I remember that one DVD that I rented (some kind of special edition) mentioned that the strange accent for the cats was meant to resemble some sort of Siamese language or dialect, indeed. Or to make it sound Asian somehow. They recorded the singers and, then, played the sound track with either slowed or faster speed (I do not remember) for the production of that track.
