I don't really see any differences between this, which is the original, and Jett's version BUT her version has one badass solo.
This one is very good too,I guess I prefer Joan's hoarse voice.
Anyhow,
I LOOOOOOOOVE ROCK 'N' ROLL!!!!!!

On Jett's version the solo is more country and western, and the Arrows is more blues based. The two singers have very different vocal approaches so that's just a matter of taste, and factor in these were recorded about seven years apart. Arrows in 1975 and Jett's 1981. I like both versions equally for different reasons.

Anyone seen the Mackenzie Phillips book?? "High On Arrival"- She mentions the Arrows on pages 72 and 73. The singer was quite a lover boy back in the day!

Back in the day singles had to be maximum 3 minutes or they wouldn't make the radio. This is just under 3 minutes, perfect for 1975 in the UK.
