You got it all wrong. Ok, bass and drums may form the rhythm section, but drums, not bass keep all other instruments in rhythm.

Yeah exactly the guy plays guitar with a sub ovtave effect which makes it sound much more base but he plays a Eastwood guitar this band doesnt have a base

@maryska38 yeah your right but the bass keeps the drums in rhythm drums are basically an announcer telling the band to move from verse to chorus and so on but the drums usually follow the bass(base)
