The truth of the matter is, that joe lewis was fast, strong and aggressive and would have been a hell of a fighter even if he had never stepped foot in a karate dojo, or met Bruce Lee.

Just read about this fight in "Bruce Lee - Fighting Spirit" by Bruce Thomas (highly recommended).
You can spot Lee's influences in Lewis' movements. Great stuff.

Tyronemallory i agree with you there. Bruce Lee was big advocate of western boxing and so was Lewis which he took very seriously. In the video above you can see big western boxing influence.

Part 2- If they did know more than one art, they didn't blend them. Bruce Lee revolutionized that. Check it out for yourself, the truth is out there, but to dispute the very man you are supporting is incredulous.
