He doesn't get anywhere near that 935 though does he!!! Granted different era I reakon he gets off the throttle because the breaks were probably on fire and not the best when they were cool anyway.

This is great. I actually know one of the guys who drove this monster at LeMans that year. The French papers called it "Le Monstier". They snuck a bunch of Olympia beer through customs by listing it on the manifest as "Oly lubricant", haha. Apparently they had to race with a smaller engine as the octane level over there was too low, this one sounds pretty good so that's probably no longer an issue. What a great bit of history.
