Here's a question. What are the odds of these two hands coming up at exactly the same time. Gotta be in the millions maybe higher. The point being that this is a good movie but the final hand is a bit ridiculous. To say the least. Gotta love Edward G. Robinson though....and Ann Margaret too.

Not bad play... the man see that he can win the whole stack+5000$ in his wallet if he hit (implied odds) ... but amateur game rules

This scene has always buggged me ... on fourth street the Kid's got aces up and the very best the Man could have is a pair of queens (and the gut shot straight flush and flush draws) the Kid figures him for Queens (if this were true the man would have to call a really large bet) so why didnt the kid tax him for everything he had then borrow some more and tax him that. He let him see fifth street for 3K what bullshit!! after an obviously very well researched movie how could they end it like this

kid : 10-10-A-A and has the master on QQ he wants to pot comit or chop him for 3k and let him catch a 2 pair, he dont want to go all in and making the master to fold.
well i guess he is concern about the flush draw too but he rivers the FH and no way he cant fold.

I also wanted to add--

I'm a live player. I've played live most of my life and do very well. I've mad a lot of money playing in real life. I've also managed to spend the money because I was making a living on it for a while.

As far as online poker- not so much. I've played many great people. Online just seems rigged in some way. Like they give two people good hands and one had is meant to win each time. I don't know.

Peace. Thanks for info but try to be cool dude. Why hate and shit?

My excuses for the lame reaction, I was just tilted at the time of writing I guess.
Also, online poker may seem rigged, but independent researchers found that dealing of the cards is completely random. The fact that it seems you get so much beats, is because of the fact you play way more hands per hour than you would play live.
If you prefer playing live above playing online, you should play live ofcourse!
I may have the rol to be ableto lose that amount of money, it still can get me tilted
GL!

Pascal--

Hey man. It's all good I completely understand. We all get on here in a bad mood and comment due to our emotions from time to time. Plus, when someone is tilting it's going to be ugly- when they comment- haha!

I've gotten better with my online play- been practicing a lot. I understand what you mean about the hands. Still can't help but notice that I always get rivered- but it happens.

Also, my medium-high pair never holds up- but does for my opponent! Drive me nuts- that's the grind!
