They are fake runes, but they're actually Englsih, saying "year 982."

If you would like to learn about real runes, look up "elder futhark" online. Don't trust anything that references Ralph Blum or that claims there is a "blank rune."

it says YERR 482, yerr might be viking or latin for year, so Year 482.
