Thanks for the great historical info on these recordings. I'm creating playlists for each of the past 100 years, so you can take a musical trip through time with my channel. Over 222 individual artists have their own playlists as well.

This V DISK took Me back a few years! I had a school pal who had an elder brother serving on a Merchant Ship which had,previously,had a USA crew. He came home with a big bagfull of V Disks. We spent hours listening to them all. must have been about 1946. We were,of course,a bit younger in those days! But,the Music still sounds as good.

Can you find some V-Disc´s in the USA today ?

Here in europe you´ll find them in towns near former army camps.
