You Know, Secretley I have always wished Olivia and Erroll got married, Erroll became a father thus stopping his drinking and his womanizing ways and lived longer and there was a Happily Ever After. But in my heart, I know it wouldn't have happened because after his love for Olivia, he loved Alcohol and Women :( But they made a wonderful screen couple with their chemistry and his charms:)
Hey! That's Mammy from Gone With the Wind. She and Olivia worked together again! Flynn was a great Custer, but he'd be cooler in the tall Cavalry boots!
It's really wonderful how the relationship between Olivia de Havilland and Errol Flynn was on and off screen. I really wish Olivia didn't refuse Errol when he asked her to marry him. I sure would have! A wonderful and talented gentleman; Errol Flynn is always going to be one of my favorite actors! I <3 Errol Flynn! RIP Errol

unlike james caney, clark gable and even cary grant, errol flynn was always gentle and gallant with his ladies, i dont remember him ever manhandling or pushing them around or being brash and crude,,,,,,yet he was the ultimate fighting champion for his country and the people and the men he led.
Yes. Perhaps that's why he was so successful (in like Flynn) with the ladies, on and off screen. Errol Flynn is one of the most remarkable figures in movie history. He defined the swashbuckling heroic male archetype and he is the "granddad" of all action heroes who followed. Unfortunately in his lifetime he received no recognition and posthumously he was mercilessly slandered as a "Nazi", an "antisemite", a "bisexual" or even a "Commie". Of course its all a pack of shameless pathetic lies.
you're completely right about that! They were all lies. Errol Flynn may have been very outgoing, but he wasn't bisexual! And as you stated youself, These are nothing but a pack of pathetic lies!
Errol Flynn and Olivia de Havilland had an incredible, rare and powerful on screen chemistry between them. Something magical. Errol Flynn was a great and brilliant actor, and he portrays George Armstrong Custer better than anyone ever has on film.
