I blame the goddamn Super Smash Bros. Brawl. It destroyed my second Wii as well. I had enough with Wii for good. But downloading games isn't so bad on your wii. But emulator is much better.

I Have this noise in mine.. and eventually it starts to scratch the face of the disk. i was wondering can the friction from this happening cause the disk not to spin at enough rpms and result the wii not beeing able to read the game?

I pestered them saying how it shouldn't have happened, and how my Wii was almost brand new and eventually the guy was like, "Ok, I'll give you a 25 dollar discount."
