what? that verse is completely irrelevent to Marys state of life. She and Josef went to consecrate Jesus to the Lord, as an offering, not for their soul's sake... rather Jesus was offered as a symbol to the Lord.

Leviticus 12:8 proves the sacrifice ws for her, not for Jesus.

"And if she is not able to bring a lamb, then she may bring two turtledoves or two young pigeons—one as a burnt offering and the other as a sin offering. So the priest shall make atonement for her, and she will be clean."

verses 1-8 show the whole context of the ritual for child birth.

Mary did not give birth to the Divine Son's divine nature, but only to His human nature.

If you think she gave birth to his divine nature then you aren't even catholic.

God the Son is one person with 2 natures.

That sacrifice was offered on Christ's behalf... and he, surely, was sinless.

Notice this difference between the Canticle of Mary and the Canticle of Zechariah (both in Luke 1.) Mary says "my spirit rejoices in God my savior," whereas Zechariah refers to Christ as a savior for Israel, as a people.

In the Resurrection, Christ's authority "changed" from being the salvation of Israel to providing personal salvation to all. Mary, however, was conceived saved by Christ.

I agree with you 100%. Jesus Christ came to this Earth to get rid of the notion of Pharisaical concepts that made Judaism based on 'man's tradition'. Because of the Pharisees, Protestants try to avoid 'man's tradition' and focus attention on God alone. For you Catholics, as long as you see Mary as a human like us, we have no disagreement, but if you claim her being the co-air with the cross, making it a square instead of a trinity, then we shall denounce any recognition you have towards Christ.
