My father, James E. Leech, was an original member of the Filthy 13. I was very pleased to learn about this monument.

Thanks for sharing this with us. Recently I had the distinct pleasure of meeting and listening to Jake McNeice, acting platoon sgt for this unit. At 89 he's still as frank and outspoken as ever.
