These monitors are outstanding.. I recently picked up a pair of the 4328p's.. They are really acurate and the RMC is sweet. These monitors were used to mix the Emmy awards as well !! Watch the video "Studer And JBL" and skip to 3:13!!!!
Hi Brian. I am a singer/songwriter/audio engineer/ videographer. and I LOVE my LSR4328s. I make TV and Radio spots and these babies make a mix that carries over to other systems nicely. Check out my channel - all mixed with LSR4300 series.
agreed, but most project studios are in bedrooms, and almost all of them have 100-300hz problems, so for me i would rather spend $1000 on some building materials and deal with all of the problems...
omplex eq and alignment isnt going to fix modal problems and early reflections caused by square or rectangle rooms with flat ceilings so for me i know the jbls are a good sounding speaker, but it comes down to pure physics nothing can fix acoustics apart from actually fixing the physical problem with something physical, acoustics..
I had an old stereo system from many years ago, I altered the equalizer and managed to get the sound perfect. The way the frequencys were being played on the speakers meant I could put the speaker behind a chair and it wouldn't affect the sound. Moving the speakers and it still sounded near perfect. If you can get the dispearsion played in a paticular way in the first place, the accoustics self balance up the frequencys. Part one frequency part another and the crosstalk fixes the imaging.
Dude, its a new technology and it's God's send but that doesn't mean one can't attempt to acoustically treat a room but there might still be some problem that will occur. Not everyone is able to setup their studio to match that of a well acoustically treated studio but with these speakers you can now achieve great results because of the technology!
