am i the only one who has noticed this...Silversun Pickups (SP)  Smashing Pumpkins (SP) coincident...plus the bass guitarist is a chick....and the same sounding music....odd

i definitely understand. there is always going to be something that sounds like something else. maybe i'm a little biased considering i'm not a big smashing pumpkins fan haha. silversun pickups are much more consistent in my opinion.

well, CH3RUBROCK (lol), I say Siamese Dream First, then Mellon Collie and the infinite sadness, then gish, then pisces iscariot, then machina, then adore, then zeitagest for last. That's the best albums to check first, doesn't mean they're in order for my favorite albums from SP, I think it's better to grow into pumpkins in that order.

Dude, then don't watch their Siamese Dream live shows. They're really good live now, they were really good live during the machina era and Adore era. Billy got better live, he really did.

you may be right, but its inevitable not to compare them.... not only his voice, but the music style, the instruments, the timing.... Some songs not so much, but others could be right off siamese dream or MIS

kissing families is pretty good.

i dont think they want to compare to smashing pumpkins..
