Saw them in St Paul, MN in 1980. Yes the show was incredible. The crowd was not pumped up, so Freddy sent the guys backstage for 15 minutes and led the crowd in Gregorian chant until whipped into an appropriate frenzy. They then continued, leading off with "We are the champions."
