I just took the Acela again today, and once again had the unfortunate experience of traveling near a family with two obnoxious young girls. It was most unpleasant.

That's weird. I thought you had to have an adult ticket to ride on Acela Express Monday thru Friday, but on weekends children can ride too.

i wouldnt think familes used Acela, and i agree about the kids. i like the quiet cars but they seem to not understand the concept of quiet.
