Perhaps the best rendition I ever heard !
Fleta's pianissimi are unparalleled, because in them there isn't the faintest trace of falsetto. The most complete tenor voice ever recorded. He had everyting!!!

estás jugando?? zapatero a sus zapatos, david no posee la educacion necesaria para interpretar un aria, ni alguien que no esté propiamente entrenado, que tenga el tipo de voz necesario, puede hacerlo , y david no lo tiene, no escribo esto para molestarte o insultarte sino solo me sentí impelido a replicar, gracias hasta pronto.

There are a few other great versions of the aria, some of them on YT, including those of Caruso, Gigli, Anselmi, Clement, Bjorling, and Smirnov.
