@goldenagenut I can honestly say Audioslave's drummer is nothing special. I haven't really heard anything different from Soundgarden's either...but Chris Carnell makes up both bands with his unique voice. No one I know can get that low, and also get that high and still keep an amazing grunge sound.

Matt Cameron is one reason,one of the hottest drummers period, Kim Thayil is another reason. Cornell seems to have been coasting since Soundgarden, no edge.

Never really understood how much soundgarden and audioslave are so different...Chris Carnell makes both bands up with his amazing voice...but I can honestly say soundgardens feel and vibe is so much better...truly amazing band.
