This car can only go in a fucking straight line, is that so much to be proud of? But a japanease car might not have so much speed but at least it can turn while driving pretty fast. And stock american cars handle like shit. I like american cars but your poin is just to dumb!
This is almost .30 seconds faster than the fastest Eclipse. You're also forgetting that the 4 cylinder Eclipse that runs 6.90's is an all out race engines, which is most likely rebuilt after every run. It's all boosting to almost 100 PSI.
There are American V8 powered cars running 6's, that are completely street legal. Check out Rod Saboury's 1963 Corvette. It's a little 427 making well over 2,000 horsepower, he still drives it on the street.
