The Sukhoi Su-47 Berkut (Russian: Су-47 "Беркут" - golden eagle), also designated S-32 and S-37 during initial development, is an experimental supersonic jet fighter developed by Sukhoi Aviation Corporation. The NATO reporting name for this aircraft is "Firkin". A distinguishing feature of the aircraft is its forward-swept wing, similar to that of the Grumman X-29. Although the Berkut has been referred to as the Su-47 since 2002, suggesting that it is a ready-for-production warplane, it will more likely be heavily redesigned (as part of the Prospective Air Complex for Tactical Air Forces program) before any series production begins. The Su-47 designation may or may not be reused for the PAK FA design.

Nobody ever defeated the F-35, so good luck trying with S-300. Again, no data. You can't say that the S-300 is immune to the F-35. I can't say that the F-35 100% > S-300. We can list reasons why we think one way is more likely, and we can perhaps point out flaws in each other's arguments, but it's hard to give an end all answer here. The F-35 was designed to survive current Russian ADS, without it being tested, you can't really say it's not effective. Who says NATO couldn't jam Serbian radar?
At range, you have plenty of room to toy with the missiles. I'm sure a figher could dodge them. You never launch at max range if you want to hit. Up close, the missiles will maneuver better with fuel, but they're still huge, heavy, specialized anti-AWACS types. They likely were not made to cope with fast moving fighters, and probably do not turn well. No source that I can find labels them as anything buy anti AWACS.
I asked for a source and I ask for numbers. Even if I take your year (1999) as true, if they only have 50, what good are they? Russia has a lot of great stuff, but getting them in numbers is proving troubling.
Even if we assumed that the F-35 was so terrible that the Su-30 would defeat it with 85% success, the US could job mob Russia with hordes of [planned] F-35's (or 2 F-22's for every Su-30)
The errors I gave was from APA, and were mean errors.
The only source I have on R-77 seeker perfromance vs RCS is from APA. Assuming that it is correct, the R-77 will see the F-22 from 7 km (and I used an oversized RCS for the F-22, .01 m^2.)
DON, as per what I've read, was designed for space defense, there was no mention of tracking low flying/suborbital aircraft. If everything developed decades ago, the F-117 would have been a failure, because Iraq, etc, used Russian technology. It failed 99.9999999% of the time to even find the F-117.
F-22 maintainence is little worse than F-15 type fighter costs, if at all.
I believe that saying that the F135 shines is "utter crap". You have no data, you're only going by APA's hypothetical assessment of future developments of the Su-35 vs current F-35. Russia has AWACS yes, but that gets affected by stealth. Sorbtsiya can't jam AN/APG-81 easily.
Jam the SAM?))))) Sure sure - good luck))) Do not forget to leave will to your layer and by good life insurance)) Nobody ever jammed S-300 as so as actualy any other Soviet SAM properly used - NATO was unable to jam even old P-18/20 radars and S-125 in Serbia ;) Do not be so naive
R-77 is in production since 1990 in 1994 it is in service R-77PD in production and service since 1997 they all have modular design so its seekers can be replaced according to needs: radar, IR or Image seeker so they can be easily upgraded by newly designed seekers also. btw - R-77 has laser detonator and its explosion creates 100% deadly cone 45 degree 100m in front
In 1998 i spotted during trainings cranes flying at 150 km and this is 50 yo training radar with no ugrades. And error for L-band radar i gave is MAX error possible - modern L-band in clear weather had less than 15m errors. And 500m i gave not as min range R-77 will be able to lock on F-22 - its range is well over 10 km.
