For the longest time I thought Closer by NIN was by Filter too. This was back in 98 or some shit. It just dawned on me that this dude is from Filter and not Trent Fagor. Crazy I was just talking about the similarity of the artist voice and appearance. Funny I guess that we think the same thing, oh the humanity. Oneness.

Remember that Richard Patrick, from Filter, was in the early Nine Inch Nails band! They are from the same "school" you know what I mean?
Richard Patrick was in NIN since Pretty Hate Machine. And sometimes takes part with Trent Reznor.

Richard Patrick was just part of the live band for NIN for the Pretty Hate Machine tour only. He never wrote anything for em and the only time he can be heard on an NIN album is one small guitar part on PHM.
