No ... he is still dead in paris ... He is dead under a grafitti covered piece of Limestone at Père Lachaise Cemetery ... He is there until the lease on the plot expires ... I think the lease was renewed reciently so he could rest in peace ... The carved bust of Jim has been stolen and replaced several times ... Jim neither stole it nor replaced it ... He is too dead to do that ... Rest In Peace James Douglas Morrison ...

I have only 1 thing left to add to this ongoing J.D. Morrison festival ---> I am the #1 living Doors fan ... I am a fan not because of the myths but because of the truths .... Jim was a Shaman, he was a Poet, he was a Lunatic ... And the music was trancendent ... I was sucked into the Morrison Cult before most of you were born ... When I heard the first album I knew something Cosmic had happened ... I STILL think what the Doors did, in spite of some of the things that happened, is AMAZING.

I never said Jim couldn't sing, I said he was was the guy in front of 3 OTHER brilliant musicians ... Also: Ilsten to the Door album "Other Voices" recorded after Jim' s death and tell me the band was shit ... for the record: Robbie Kreiger wrote "Light My Fire" the hit song that got the Doors a record deal ... and please try to remember that it was Jim who killed the band.

Unfortunately for your verson of who and what the Doors were there are several books, written by people who KNEW Jim. they give a first-hand testamony ... Read John Densmore's book before you assume that he was loved by the band members.

the doors wouldn't have been the doors without robbie's chilling guitar, john's tight drummings skills, ray's psychedelic keyboard or jim's great voice and amazing lyrics.

it's the combination of all the members that make this band as amazing as it was.

@hammerogod without jim the band would've been shit and the other members loved Jim and if the crap you wrote were true they all would've all been making hits or at least music after he died but they didn't did they. Sorry but without any of them the doors wouldn't have been possible. Without that "FRONT MAN" they would've never been. Sorry Just Speakin' The Truth and I think you may be the only person in the world that would actually think that. You got it all wrong buddy.
