@sanelately i see it differently. it's about false image celebrities have for the public and about how they have to keep smiling when they fill real shitty inside.
It's not about Britney Spears. It's about fake celebrities so yeah I guess Britney falls into that as well. She is fake, she sucks so bad. She fricken seeked fame and then when she got it, she becomes depressed and acts like a total ass and fakes on stage by lipsing her songs. I was once a fan to, that was until she lost all sight of dignity and appreciation to her fans. Loserville awaits her.
this song is about EVERY woman. The women who have things to offer, or feel, or whatever the fuck, VS the women who posses material decadence and could care less about the exceptions. These plastic ladies enjoy belittling the others because, sociologically, they enjoy being backed by they're fellow bitches and only find security to be something you obtain when your stature resembles Barbie. SO just... soak that in, and stop going on about Britney Spears.
your right, let's RAPE THE DIRECTOR im so glad you agree that we should cut off his balls and make him EAT THEM! REMEMBER we devised this plan together in secrecy. WATCH THE FUCK OUT AMY LEE, WERE COMING TO KILL YOUR DINOSAUR FETUS!
i am britney spears' biggest fan but i read that amy lee wrote this song in response to what britney spears represented at the height of her career. and i guess it was kind of prophetic
I'd have to say, the video kinda bugs me, it's a little preachy, I mean it's GOOD, but it keeps making cute blondes the obvious antagonists and the fact that they make it seem like the emo "angsty one" is the victim is a little irratating, I mean, I know it's the genre but it's still a little....eh....I don't know...too stereotypical...
I mean not that there's anything WRONG with the video, kudos to the director, it's artistic but it's also a blunt stereotype....it's kinda mean...
