to film the road properly.. aka to film with the camera moving, you need to film at 10fps on the portion that are worth it to you... and then speed it. But capturing 10 seconds every minute is going to make the video choppy the way it is here.

Because I used a Still-Camera, filming at 10fps is not an option. Basically, I just left the camera rig used for the BM time-lapse set up on the way home just for fun. Due to the fact that we only have 30fps to work with, filming 10fps would only yeild a 3/1 speedup. That's not time-lapse, that's fast video. It would take the better part of a day to watch it. Speeding it up means dropped frames, and then you are back to this.

It's a Canon G3 still camera mounted in a custom housing. It was connected to a Linux server that instructed it to take a picture about every 30 seconds. I later took all the stills and converted them into a video.

to the art car on the screen starting around 1:10. You gave my friends and I a ride around the playa one night and I don't think we got a chance to say thanks...so Thanks!

That's the Moebius Omnibus, My art car. I parked it there until it could be loaded so it would be under surveillance.
