I have just posted 2 clips from the"1995 version". I copyrighted the Joplin score in Aug. 1994 and it was released on VHS in 1995. A Presentation with a live piano performance is in the planning stages.

I've got three versions of the General, and I still prefer the video over the DVDs!! That's got civil-war-time music, and is sepia-tinted - it felt odd to watch it in proerper black and white! the first DVD had Scott Joplin music - just the thing for a Civil War film! and the second DVD has kinda jazzy score. At least I learned that the score I prefer is the "1995 version" - or a date similar to that!

Wow, a section from a Buster Keaton film where he doesn't fall down for over four minutes.

I kid, this is genius.

Yeah, it would've been amazing to see what was good film if, instead of turning it off, you had watched the fucking movie.
