Connecting the nintendo DS to wireless

my ds doesnt wanna find the access point it whont even find my house and im right nex to it

I don't have the right type of security this sucks

i sometimes see the blue lock i press it and i still cant get thru

go to "advanced settings". you'll see options for Connections for 4, 5, 6 and Wi-Fi Prtotected setup, What's your encryption? Is it WEP, WPA, or WPA-2?

grey = WPA or WPA 2, which the DS does NOT suppot

red = WEP, which the DS does support. You must type the WEP key.

blue = no code, you can access immediately

Not the poster, but- if you have a connection that isn't supported, it usually means that you've got a WPA encrypted router, rather than WEP. Nintendo DS only syncs up with WEP encrypted routers. You won't be able to connect to the internet at home from your DS. Try going to a library or school, or another place with open and free wifi.
