exactly. the concept of a scene/subculture based around the ideals of being 'different' and 'individual' is fucking dumb. I don't like hardcore music itself, as most hardcore bands are just tools looking for something to do and be a part of, yet a vast majority of the bands I like are labeled hardcore.
