isnt the basic principle the same though, they all have a I V VI IV chord progression, there are a few exceptions but if you were to play that progression you could sing any of these over it as long as its in key

pretty impressive video, but they are seriously simplifying some of the chord progression of these songs. For example, man in the mirror is I, I(1'st inversion) IV, V (or suss IV depending on the feel). Notice how there is no minor IV chord. They do this with many songs but overall still a clever video.
