Just finished doing this musical, and after doing it I didnt see how it was possible to make a movie version! Though from what ive seen in this part it seems pretty good tough I do think its better suited for stage Oh also the songs(same ones weather stage or the movie) are AMAAAAAAZZZIIINNNNGGG!!!!!!
@gradysizemore1- try to remember that Judas was a real person who, likely, before he betrayed him, thought that Jesus was going to be the salvation of the Jewish people from earthly oppression. He couldn't understand Jesus' message of freedom from spiritual oppression, so, he turned him into the Jewish authorities when he became disillusioned with Jesus' message. The Gospel of John indicates what Judas was devastated when he saw what happened to Jesus. So, remember Judas' humanity.
Also remember that Judas may well have been the closest disciple to Jesus, and that he only betrayed him because Jesus asked him to. Make sure you are heartbroken when you realize what you have to do, and don't act maliciously for an instant. I did this play a couple of years ago.
