How does this play? I don't care if it looks like a turd, if it plays like metal slug, I'm interested.

Sort of similar. I've played it before, on emulator and on the original handheld.

You have to switch between guns and grenades, the action isn't as fluid, and it's not as filled with action and shooting. The levels also aren't as linear.

Still loads of fun.

What killed it was the lack of marketing. I never heard of the Neo Geo Pocket color till like last year. If SNK had the money to market it and get some more games out it could have held its own against the gameboy at least technically.

It tooks the deep pockets and years of brand recognition for the PSP to do as well as it's doing against the DS.

i dont know why.. but the metal slug background music always reminds me of Back To The Future :S
