I think Super Metroid is one of the best games EVER. What is this game like in 3D? Does it even touch Super Metroid? In terms of gameplay and story?

why does samus have the grappling beam if she didn't get it in metroid zero mission? I mean, metroid prime takes place after metroid zero mission right? Someone please reply, I'm so confused!

I liked the game--except it made me motion sick so I couldn't play it for more than 30min. without feeling like I wanted to throw up.
