I agree with you, but I think you have to consider that the girls who go to him for these nightly sessions most probably don't love him either. They know what he wants, and I think ultimately they want exactly the same thing: a hot night with Tom. Period. ;)
And if you think about it, even though Tom might have had a lot of girls, in the end he probably doesn't get more sex than the guy who's in a real, stable relationship. Tom is just permanently "on the hunt", but other than that...
