This reminds me of his video of California, in which he is, in a sense, singing back to himself, too. Only in that one it's to an old television program with himself in it. Oh, Wainwright--so narcissistic.

Indeed. In fact, McCartney actually named Apple (no, not the computer company) after the Magritte painting Son of Man.
