i hope as i lay dying builds off what they did with this album rather than goin back to SAS. The instruments in SAS were great and so was the concept of the album. However tim's voice sounds exausted and not nearly as clear as we have had the pleasure of hearing on an ocean between us. Also there wasn't enough melody or slow breakdown's to make the album beautufil and brutal. Listening to a couple songs is awesome but it doesn't have the complete and epic feel that AOBS has :)
